Pre-employment and Periodical medical assessments

Pre-employment and Periodical medical assessments related to occupational health are essential components of maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. These assessments serve to ensure that employees are physically and mentally fit for the demands of their specific job roles.

By conducting these medical evaluations, employers can identify any potential health risks and take proactive measures to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.

Additionally, periodical medicals help monitor the health status of employees over time, enabling early detection of any emerging health issues.

This comprehensive approach to occupational health not only safeguards employees but also contributes to increased productivity, reduced absenteeism, and improved overall workplace morale.

Pre-employment Examinations – Medical check-ups conducted prior to the commencement of the employee’s joining date as a part of the recruitment process; it is important to determine if the candidate has any health conditions which can be either occupational or non-occupational in nature, but they can get aggravated during the new working process through exposure to different hazards or may have contraindications for certain jobs/ exposures, as those can further aggravate or harm the health of the future employee. Moreover, if the candidate is diagnosed with a pre-existing medical condition, he/ she needs to be evaluated and placed in the right job/ working environment so his/her health does not get further affected by the new working conditions, henceforth the candidate cannot claim that the medical condition he/she already is identified with is determined by the new job factors.

Periodical Medical Check-ups – Periodical medical evaluations conducted on pre-determined periods of time, according to the type of hazards exposure in the workplace and in line with the local and international occupational health-related standards, to maintain the health standards at the workplace and to monitor the health trends of the employees; this will help the Company’s Representatives to determine proactive measures at the workplace.
